During October 2026 the Thai EV market saw repeated price moves: BYD Sealion 7 cut by 100,000 THB to 1,099,900 THB, GEELY EX5 offered at 759,000-899,000 THB, and Mazda announced the CX-6e launch for 7 October.
What this does to the market is push buyers toward entry trims: lower prices bring more people in, but entry trims rarely include comfort features such as a power liftgate.
